Reliable Engineering Services, Inc. has been serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area for more than 40 years , and we're looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be working in the field servicing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia .

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
• Servicing rooftop units (RTUs)
• Troubleshooting heat pumps
• Servicing split systems
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Responding to service calls
• Communicating with customers and our office team
• Completing service documentation
• Helping identify equipment that needs repair or replacement

️‍ Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a technician who:

• Has solid HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills
• Can work independently in the field
• Takes pride in doing quality work
• Can communicate professionally with customers
• Is dependable and takes ownership of their work
• Has a valid driver's license and good driving record

Commercial HVAC experience is preferred — but don't count yourself out if you're coming from residential.

If you're an experienced residential technician who wants to make the move into commercial HVAC, we want to talk to you!

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Commercial RTUs
• Heat pumps
• Split systems
• Packaged equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting
• HVAC controls
• Preventive maintenance

EPA certification and/or Journeyman license preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
