Now Hiring: Easton Manor Youth Counselors

Location: Mathom House & Easton Manor Programs, Doylestown area, Bucks County PA 18901

CHOR Youth & Family Services is looking for Youth Counselors to provide supervision, guidance, mentoring, and direction to residents in our Mathom House & Easton Manor Programs . Help enhance the lives of kids in need of your professional support! Our residential treatment facilities, located in Doylestown area , Bucks County PA , are dedicated to providing responsive and innovative care to adolescent males through a multi-disciplinary approach that integrates counseling, education, recreation, and life skills instruction.

Wage: $19.50 per hour

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Part-time Weekends

Shifts: Flexible to work all shifts

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate a variety of counseling, communication, and parenting skills, which support the formation of trusting, supportive relationships with the residents.
• Maintain safety and security of residents and facility.
• Actively supervise residents during academic instruction, recreational activity, in the community, and in common areas of the facility.
• Collaboratively create residential behavioral goals in conjunction with clinical staff and case manager.
• Create and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and reports to record residents’ progress toward behavioral goals.
• Will be trained in accordance with our structured program policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services related field OR: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years working with youth.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass criminal history (including FBI) and child abuse history clearances.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
