Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit (CCU) in Las Cruces, NM this position might be what you are looking for! Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions, such as cardiac failure, sepsis, respiratory distress, and post-surgical complications.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall condition.
- Administer and manage complex medications, including vasoactive drugs, sedatives, anticoagulants, and pain management therapies.
- Operate and monitor life-supporting equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
- NM Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
- Pay: $1,884.3 - $1,942.58 / week
- Location: Las Cruces, NM
- Assignment Length: 13
- Shift: Night - up to 36.00 hours per week
- Setting: Hospital
- Workplace: On-site
