Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring an active PT license and BLS certification.

• May require floating to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (or compact eligibility) required if applicable
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to new environments quickly

Additional Information

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and quality of life
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure continuity of care
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely per facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support ongoing recovery at home
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive clinical environment
