Job Summary:
The Polysomnographer position is based in a healthcare facility operating primarily during night shifts. The role involves performing sleep studies and utilizing specialized equipment to monitor and evaluate patients' sleep patterns. This is a contract assignment starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027, offering a comprehensive clinical experience in sleep medicine.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioners License; certifications including BLS, RPSGT, or RRT; minimum of 0 years of experience; experience with sleep monitoring equipment, Electroencephalogram (EEG), and sleep study procedures; proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, and familiarity with the Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be capable of performing specialized sleep studies including pediatric and adult Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and other sleep-related procedures. Candidates should be prepared to work with interdisciplinary teams in a facility with up to 6 rooms for sleep studies. Compliance with local radius requirements and submission of two recent references are mandatory.
