In Carrollton, TX, your day begins on the production floor where precision meets momentum. As our Plastics Blow Molding Process Technician, you’ll own the machine start-ups, dial in parameters, and keep quality on target while the lines run. You’ll be the person operators and teammates rely on when a mold needs fine-tuning or a hiccup threatens throughput.
A day in this role- Review the schedule and specs, then set up blow-molding equipment for the next run.
- Warm up tooling, verify settings, and adjust temperatures, air pressure, and timings to hit optimal output.
- Watch the process in real time—catch variances early and correct them to protect quality.
- Handle routine PMs and jump into troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect parts against standards, record results, and communicate findings at shift handoff.
- Coordinate with your team to meet hourly targets and production deadlines.
- Keep your cell clean and orderly; follow all safety rules and company procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in blow molding or a closely related manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical instincts and solid troubleshooting ability.
- Comfort reading technical documents, machine specs, and basic schematics.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-moving environment and hit deadlines.
- Flexibility to work overtime when production needs it.
