Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
• May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit based on skill set and unit need
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Deliver care to patients on a stepdown or telemetry unit based on facility need and clinician skill set
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that affects pay rate eligibility
