Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 13+ years of software development experience on Diags, ONIE BMC and BIOS fields on Networking Switch products including 100G/400G/800G/1.6T products designGood knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities, good knowledge of PFR/RoT/eROT and security related SDL, thread modeling, Code signing, etcAbility to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications, ability to manage, motivate, and direct a cross-functional workgroup; and drive successful negotiationsExcellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts along with effective problem-solving ability, knowledge or relevant deployment experience of the Networking Switch ecosystemFluent in UEFI and EDKII foundation design and delivering generic features on top of it, solid design experiences of Broadcom SDK and PHY driversDesirable Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related fieldSolid understanding of existing industry players in cables and optics fieldCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
