Cath Lab Technician Assistant

The Cath Lab Technician Assistant assists in preparing patients for cath lab procedures. The role involves scrubbing procedures and monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures. The technician demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. The invasive cardiology process is utilized to assist in preparing the procedure room and patient for procedures. The technician addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers. The role includes managing patient care assignments and other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations. Knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions is applied. Additional related duties may be performed as needed. Responsibilities include accepting accountability for results. Continuous improvement of care and service is expected. Stewardship of resources is demonstrated. Every individual is to be treated with respect. Setting the standard for quality and caring is essential. Integrity in all actions is required.
