Associate Data Engineer

Supporting the data engineering team, the full-time Associate Data Engineer will handle operational tasks, resolve support tickets, and conduct discovery work remotely, contributing to the reliability and quality of healthcare data pipelines. Key Responsibilities Handle support tickets and operational issues, investigating root causes and coordinating resolutions with senior engineers Perform KTLO tasks including monitoring pipeline health, validating data quality, and investigating data anomalies Conduct data source discovery and profiling, documenting data structure and identifying quality issues for integration recommendations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Strong SQL proficiency for writing queries to explore, validate, and analyze data Proficiency in Python or another programming language, with comfort in writing scripts and automation Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipeline architecture Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices
