FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment at St. John’s Medical Center (1923 South Utica Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74104). Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of the principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surface areas. Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Complete additional duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Prior floor maintenance or floor care technician experience required. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
