At ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, we are looking for a professional to carry out moderately complex information systems and/or information technology tasks within more than one discipline.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and supporting information technology and systems infrastructures.
• Conducting moderately complex analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating a variety of information technology tools.
• Serving as the back up to respond to user requests for system needs and upgrades or handling more complex requests.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in an efficient manner with little to no supervision.
• Implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
• Administering, running tests on, and maintaining operating system and related software.
• Scheduling, performing, and monitoring system backups and, when necessary, performing data recoveries.
• Performing root cause analysis, diagnostics, and monitoring on various production systems.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and working with team members to implement efficiencies.
• Effectively creating and maintaining relevant systems documentation and user guides.
• Being actively engaged in the planning and designing of new platforms and integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure. Evaluating new technologies and releases.
• Conducting cost analysis of newly designed platforms and technologies.
• Creating and reviewing technical systems recovery plans to reduce downtime if a system outage were to occur.
• Reviewing the problem management register and identifying actions.
• Applying scripting methodologies to automate related tasks.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.

Other job specific skills include:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products that include Microsoft Windows, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve more complex system hardware, software or networking related problems.
• Ability to plan and coordinate the deployment of new technology and resolve technical problems individually and as a project participant.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace and storage technology.

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
