Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher delivering individualized instruction to students with disabilities for a 36-week contract in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Responsible for developing lesson plans, collaborating with educators and families, and monitoring progress to meet IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities according to IEP goals.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.

• Create and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely updates to stakeholders.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license and resume required.

• 1 year minimum teaching experience.

• Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.

• Physical ability to engage with students actively.

• Background check required.
