Full Time OPS / SNR MGR Carlsbad, NM, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 1143 Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually Senior Environmental Project Manager – Carlsbad, NM We are looking for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Carlsbad team. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects, manage client relationships, and mentor staff while driving regulatory compliance and project success. This opportunity is for someone with an environmental science, geology, or environmental engineering background. Key Responsibilities Lead environmental projects from investigation through remediation and regulatory closure Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and deliverables Direct multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior staff Prepare NMOCD submittals (Release Notifications, C-141s, Closure Request Reports, State and Federal documents , etc.) Coordinate with NMOCD, State, and/or Federal entities during the entire project life cycle of any oil & gas remediation or reclamation project Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development Provide senior-level review of data analysis, interpretations, and technical recommendations Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture across all projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred) 6 + years of environmental consulting and remediation experience, with at least 3 years in project management Expertise with NMOCD, SLO, BLM regulations and guidelines Experience managing projects with the NMOCD on oil & gas remediation and site closure Knowledge of soil/groundwater corrective action and risk-based closure strategies Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Texas Railroad Commission and University Lands experience a plus Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match 10 days Earned Time Off (ETO), 1 floating holiday , annually, plus paid holidays Company phone provided or phone stipend after 90 days Overtime eligibility depending on workload and project demand Why Join Us?
