$14.00 - $27.00/hr* Shift may start between 4:00am - 7:00am Shift may start between 7:00am - 9:00am Role summary Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the sales floor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. What you’ll do Work in the deli providing customer service and assisting with orders. Help customers find and prepare fresh produce, deli, bakery, dairy, and meat items. Maintain proper temperature control and verify produce dates. Dispose of or sell lesser quality food products responsibly. No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, there are similarities in all departments. These include detailed cleaning of the shelves and department, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products. What you’ll bring Help customers find the products they are looking for. Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce. Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
