Accounting Specialist Quick Facts Location: Dallas, TX, Onsite during training; Hybrid Pay: $25.00$30.00/hour Depending on experience Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Position type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Hire Reporting: Reports directly to the Controller/Accountant, working alongside 1 Property Accountant Why you'll like this job Flexible hybrid model allowing up to 2 remote days per week post-training Growth potential with an expected pay increase upon full-time conversion Supportive team environment working directly with leadership High-volume portal adoption that streamlines tenant collections and processing What you'll do AP Processing: Manage weekly payment runs, enter and submit invoices, verify accuracy, ensure correct G/L coding, and route approvals through property management accounting software AR & Tenant Payments: Oversee high-volume AR functions across a portfolio of 20 Multi-family, Commercial, and HOA properties, maintaining peak focus during the first week of the month Bank Activity: Record daily bank transactions and basic fees to support the Property Accountant's month-end reconciliations System Support: Leverage a recently upgraded software ecosystem to drive portal adoption and efficient processing What you need Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on AP and AR experience Software: Proven proficiency in property management accounting software is required (non-negotiable); basic Microsoft Excel skills Education: Associate degree required Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong integrity, adaptability, team-first attitude, and reliable attendance Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00
