Counter Parts Person For A Commercial Trailer Company

Interstate Utility Trailer was established in 1975 and has become one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in North America. Our Indianapolis IN location is looking for a counter parts person.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting Customers promptly and courteously
• Properly identify needed items using internet and parts catalogs
• Suggest additional parts and accessories for purchase
• Pulling in stock items from inventory
• Ensure that all parts are picked up or delivered on time
• Completing all required documents before disbursing parts
• Enter all necessary information into inventory control system
• Provide updated information for stock orders
• Return all unsold merchandise back to stock
• Check in parts, match packing list to orders
• Put away received parts in proper bins/location
• Taking customer trailer part orders both at the counter and on the telephone and placing those orders in our parts inventory system.
• Stocking and re-stocking parts inventory in our parts warehouse.
• Conducting periodic parts cycle counts to reconcile in-stock inventory

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Oriented
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong listening skills
• Data Entry skills
• Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
• Reaching with arms and hands
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work independently
