Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and thorough medical history assessments
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging results and lab tests
• Collaborate actively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, ensuring operating rooms are ready, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical tools are handed off seamlessly
• Offer excellent pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
