About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Lightbridge Academy of Westfield as a Teacher's Assistant, where you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage children during playtime and learning activities.
• Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Help with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and classroom supplies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in early childhood education preferred.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Background check clearance required.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the needs of the classroom.
