The CDL A Reefer Hazmat Truck Driver transports various materials, both hazardous and non-hazardous material to, from and within customer facilities and storage utilizing a variety of heavy vehicles and trailers. The Driver will also assist in the plant as a Stacker. As a stacker you will be stacking liners on pallets corresponding to the agreed customer requirements. Assist Inspectors in reviewing liners in order to ensure we continue to produce and supply our customers with liners of the highest quality. CDL Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities The main responsibility of a refrigerated truck driver is to safely transport freight that must be kept under refrigerated conditions. Drives in accordance with all state, local and federal laws and regulations at all times. Monitoring freight throughout the trip Loads and unloads trailer, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical handling equipment. Records hours of service via an electronic log. Maintains vehicle interior and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Performs visual inspections of assets prior to leaving the facility, throughout the shift and upon return. Communicates any vehicle or equipment damage to maintenance before loading via use of an electronic log. Utilizes safe driving skills in maneuvering at varying speeds in a variety of situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather and tight spaces. Completes all documentation and data entry associated with inspection reports, work orders, shipping documents and other project notes in an accurate manner. Communicates any and all accidents and/or incidents immediately. Troubleshoots and eliminates problems via individual initiative or via teamwork in tandem with dispatch and/or maintenance. Maintains professionalism in interactions with customers and members of the public. CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A required Hazmat required 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred Clean driving record with no moving violations Must pass background check and drug test Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles Alert, focused, and detail-oriented Physically and mentally fit Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems Map reading and route planning experience Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful High level of composure and good stress management Stacker - Wetout Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities Read construction sheet and customer requirement sheet fully in order to meet the customer requirements. Assisting co-workers in machine setups. Assisting co-workers in wrapping and strapping down completed liners. Stacking liners on pallets neatly and correctly according to customer requirements. Assist Inspectors in review the liner as it comes of the line for any quality issues. Report any quality problems to Supervisor immediately. Check drive rollers for needles prior to running coated material and after running felt material and/or at the beginning of the shift. When stacking liners, keep repairs out of folds. Consult with your Supervisor to determine correct pallet size for liner. Continually review supplies and report to your Supervisor any shortages. Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required. Perform other duties as assigned Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, hourly position that requires work in the plant when not driving. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday. Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
