Laboratory Supervisor

Job TitleThis position is a second-shift role and requires availability to work evening hours and rotating weekends. Applicants must be available to meet these established scheduling requirements. This position is eligible for a $2000 Sign on Bonus!Qualification for this role include one of the following:Bachelor's degree in Hard Science and 2 years of Lab ExperienceAssociate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or similar with 4 years of Lab Experience48 Semester hours of Hard Science or Medical Laboratory Science course work with 2 years of Lab ExperienceAbout the role: Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas.BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. How you will contribute:You will oversee employee performance and schedulingYou will lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational effortsYou will work with donors to resolve concernsYou will analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming eventsYou will perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas.You will foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts.What you bring to Takeda:High school diploma or equivalentCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certificationFrequent bending and reachingAbility to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 poundsFine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distanceBecause of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is requiredWhat Takeda can offer you:Every day at Takeda, we feel good knowing that what we do helps improve the lives of patients with rare diseases.
