Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echocardiography Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience including congenital heart experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma pediatric hospital in Little Rock, AR.

Job Details

• Work in the Heart Station unit of a 359-bed, Level 1 Trauma, Level 4 NICU teaching hospital and one of the 10 largest pediatric medical centers in the US,
• Pediatric echocardiography specialty with required congenital heart experience,
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week,
• Call is required approximately every 11th weekend, resulting in roughly one weekend call shift per assignment,
• Weekday call may also be required, occurring approximately every 11th weekday for a total of roughly six weekday call shifts per assignment,
• A portion of call shifts may take place at an affiliated site (UAMS),
• No floating required,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with pediatric specialization,
• Documented congenital heart experience is required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• License required if applicable,
• Must pass a nicotine test - all candidates must be nicotine free,
• Flu vaccination required prior to start (no exemptions or declinations accepted),
• Must pass a fit test; facial hair is only permitted for religious beliefs,
• At least one professional reference from within the last year required for consideration,

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,
