Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, networking, data center infrastructure, or related construction environments.
• 1+ years of experience in a Lead Technician, Foreman, Site Coordinator, Field Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Experience coordinating multiple technicians and work activities on active construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret project schedules, drawings, work plans, and installation documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technicians, project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades.
• Experience participating in construction coordination meetings and communicating action items to field personnel.
• Familiarity with data center construction environments and low-voltage installation practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing project requirements. 

Preferred:

• Experience supporting QA/QC activities on large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards, including copper and fiber optic infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating installation activities involving:
• Structured cabling
• Fiber optics
• Access control systems
• CCTV systems
• Wireless infrastructure
• Network equipment installations
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• BICSI Installer, Technician, or related industry certification
• Experience working alongside commissioning teams, general contractors, and customer representatives.
• Familiarity with project management and construction tracking software. 

Responsibilities:

• Serves as an on-site field coordination and leadership resource supporting the Quality Control Lead and overall project team on large-scale mission-critical data center projects.
• Due to the size, complexity, and pace of these environments, the Foreman provides additional field coverage and coordination necessary to keep technicians aligned with daily priorities, schedules, site requirements, and project direction.
• Acts as the bridge between the QC Lead, field technicians, Project Management, General Contractor, and other site stakeholders.
• Primary objective is to manage the day-to-day coordination demands of the site so the QC Lead can remain focused on quality, project readiness, field progress, and keeping the team moving at the required pace.
• Maintains a strong presence across the site, attends required coordination meetings, communicates changing priorities to the field, follows up on commitments, and ensures information reaches the appropriate resources. 

Key Responsibilities:
Site & Field Coordination:

• Serve as a primary day-to-day coordination point between the QC Lead and field technicians.
• Maintain visibility across active work areas and communicate field status, priorities, and constraints back to the QC Lead.
• Help coordinate technician activities based on direction and priorities established by QC and Project Management.
• Ensure field personnel understand daily and weekly priorities, schedule expectations, and changes impacting work.
• Follow up with technicians on assigned actions and commitments to help maintain project momentum.
• Assist in coordinating access to work areas and sequencing activities around other trades and site operations.
• Identify potential field constraints and quickly communicate them to the appropriate project leadership.

Meetings & Site Representation:

• Attend required daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, coordination meetings, scheduling meetings, planning sessions, and site logistics meetings.
• Represent field operations in meetings when appropriate and ensure relevant information is communicated back to QC, Project Management, and technicians.
• Capture action items, schedule changes, access restrictions, upcoming milestones, and other information affecting field execution.
• Follow up on field-related action items resulting from meetings.
• Participate in daily and weekly look-ahead discussions to maintain awareness of upcoming site requirements.

Schedule & Workforce Coordination:

• Maintain awareness of the project schedule and upcoming field milestones.
• Assist QC and Project Management with coordinating technician coverage against scheduled activities.
• Communicate daily and weekly work priorities to field personnel.
• Monitor whether resources are positioned in the appropriate areas based on current project needs.
• Identify potential Client, access, scheduling, or coordination issues that could impact planned work.
• Help coordinate changes in field priorities as site conditions and schedules evolve.
• Provide QC with regular visibility into field status so priorities can be adjusted quickly when necessary.

QC Support:

• Serves as a force multiplier for the QC Lead, allowing QC to maintain broader oversight of quality and project progress across a large site.
• Support QC by maintaining visibility across areas where QC cannot be physically present at all times.
• Communicate QC priorities and direction to field personnel.
• Coordinate technicians and resources when QC identifies areas requiring attention.
• Follow up on outstanding QC action items and provide status updates.
• Help ensure technicians are available and positioned where needed to support QC activities.
• Track completion of field actions identified by QC and communicate when items are ready for follow-up.
• Escalate recurring field issues, resource concerns, or schedule impacts to QC and Project Management.
• Help QC maintain overall project pace by driving communication and follow-through across the field.
• QC retains ownership of quality oversight, inspections, documentation, and quality requirements.
• Supports that function by providing the additional coordination, communication, and field presence required on a project of this scale.

Communication & Escalation:

• Maintain consistent communication with QC, Project Management, and field personnel throughout the workday.
• Provide concise updates regarding field activity, schedule impacts, staffing, access, and outstanding action items.
• Communicate changes from site leadership and coordination meetings to affected field resources.
• Escalate issues early when they may impact schedule, productivity, safety, or project commitments.
• Help prevent communication gaps between project leadership and technicians working across different areas of the facility.
• Maintain clear ownership and follow-up of field-related action items until resolution.

Safety & Site Compliance:

• Attend required site safety meetings and communicate relevant safety information to the field team.
• Reinforce site-specific safety expectations and requirements.
• Help ensure technicians are aware of changing site conditions, restricted areas, access requirements, and other safety-related information.
• Coordinate with site safety personnel and project leadership when field activities require additional planning or communication.
• Immediately escalate identified safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Reinforce professional conduct and compliance with customer and General Contractor site requirements.
