Lucky's Iron Door Roadhouse is looking for smart, driven, responsible people to join our team as Food Runners. As a Food Runner, you're an important connection between our kitchen, service team, and guests. You'll learn how a busy restaurant operates, work alongside experienced hospitality professionals, and play a direct role in making sure every guest receives the experience they came for. No previous restaurant experience is required. We'll train the right person. This position starts at $13.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

A great Food Runner doesn't simply carry plates. They protect the work of the kitchen, support the service team, and make sure the guest receives the quality and hospitality we promised them.

You're someone who works hard even when nobody is watching. You notice things. You're willing to move quickly and stay focused. You don't believe helping a teammate is "someone else's job." You can take direction and coaching without taking it personally. You ask questions when you don't understand something. If you make a mistake, you own it, learn from it, and get better. You show up when you're scheduled. You take pride in doing small things well. And when things get busy, you're willing to dig in and help the team get through it.

What you'll do includes delivering food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests, learning our menu so you can confidently identify dishes and their ingredients, verifying that food is going to the correct table and guest, helping ensure every plate leaves the kitchen looking the way it should, communicating guest requests to servers and other team members, clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently, maintaining clean and organized service areas, assisting servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and other teammates when needed, communicating clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team, anticipating what needs to happen next instead of always waiting to be asked, and helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

Experience is optional. Character isn't.
