Responsibilities Act as the go-to resource for all office needs, from maintenance, mail, and supplies to equipment, billing, and errands Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including correspondence, supply requests, and clerical workflows Lead and coordinate the receptionist and runner teams, ensuring every service request is handled seamlessly from intake through procurement, delivery, meeting setup, and follow-up Manage food and beverage services — inventory, ordering, and coordination with support staff — to meet the needs of meetings, events, and daily hospitality Support the scheduling of meetings, appointments, and conference room usage Train, cross-train, and mentor front office staff on an ongoing basis Partner with HR to roll out and maintain office policies Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time Continuously evaluate office processes and recommend improvements to boost efficiency Warmly greet and assist visitors, setting the tone for a positive guest experience Take on additional responsibilities as the needs of the office evolve Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of office management experience, ideally in a hospitality-driven or fast-paced, service-oriented setting Demonstrated success in office management, administration, or a closely related field Deep understanding of office systems, procedures, and professional etiquette Experience negotiating and managing contracts for office equipment and services Hands-on proficiency with office technology, including Mac systems, copiers, and phone systems Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), macOS, GoToMeeting, and Smartsheet Flexibility and composure under pressure Sharp attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving instincts Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging both clients and internal teams Standout organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Work Location This is a full-time, on-site role based at Jackson Dawson's Dearborn, Michigan office.
