Deliverables & Scope : End-to-end execution of Talend ETL workflows and MicroStrategy dashboard/reporting development; semantic layer modeling; query performance tuning; cloud warehouse integration (Snowflake/Redshift).



Interview process : Standard technical evaluation and panel interview focusing on Talend ETL architecture and MicroStrategy schema design.





NON-NEGOTIABLES

Talend ETL : 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying complex ETL jobs and data integration pipelines.



MicroStrategy Development : 4+ years creating enterprise reports, interactive dashboards, metrics, filters, prompts, and utilizing Object Manager for lifecycle management.



Data Modeling & SQL : 4+ years of advanced SQL optimization, star schema/snowflake schema design, and semantic layer creation.



NICE-TO-HAVES
Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse integration.


Programming experience in Python, PySpark, or Java for custom data transformations.


Retail sector background.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• We are seeking a Lead Talend Developer with strong MicroStrategy application development expertise to join our AI & Data team within US-Products. This role will lead the end-to-end design, development, and integration of enterprise reporting, analytics dashboards, and ETL data pipelines. The ideal candidate will bridge data engineering with business intelligence, ensuring high-performance schema design, optimized SQL queries, and seamless data ingestion across cloud warehouses.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and optimize complex ETL pipelines and data integration workflows using Talend.
• Develop dynamic MicroStrategy reports, interactive dashboards, grids, scorecards, and KPI visualizations.
• Create and manage MicroStrategy schema and application objects, including metrics, filters, prompts, templates, consolidations, and custom groups.
• Perform application lifecycle management and object migrations using MicroStrategy Object Manager.
• Architect and refine semantic layers, dimensional models, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and integrate enterprise reporting tools with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift.
