Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) working in a healthcare facility in Morristown, New Jersey. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum processes, supporting the health and safety of mothers and newborns. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of performing assessments, documentation, patient education, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; associates or bachelor's degree preferred; RN license required; 0 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Additional Information: This role involves supporting the completion of patient testing, evaluating pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness, and providing patient education pre- and post-delivery. The nurse will demonstrate knowledge of labor and delivery procedures, safety protocols, and patient care activities specific to obstetric and neonatal care. Clinical skills should include assessment, documentation, professionalism, patient satisfaction, and safety practices, including HIPAA confidentiality and emergency procedures.
