Housekeeper, Vacation Rentals

POSITION SUMMARY:

Immediate Housekeeping opening for a short-term vacation rental company in Breckenridge. The Housekeeper will be responsible for conducting property cleans throughout Breckenridge. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the property is properly cleaned and inspected in preparation for our guest's arrival. The housekeeper will provide quality control to ensure that properties meet the required cleaning and inspection standards. This is a full-time, year-round position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive the housekeeping schedule for daily work assignments and clean assigned units. 
• Organize and schedule daily workload. 
• Clean, disinfect, restock, and tidy the kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms. 
• Strip dirty towels and linens, sorting out any stained or ripped pieces.
• Make beds and replenish towels, linens, and amenities. 
• Wipe, scour, and sanitize counters, sinks, and toilets. 
• Load and unload the dishwasher. 
• Vacuum and/or spot clean stains, hair, or lint on furniture.
• Ensure furniture, decorations, and window treatments are free of dust and grime and in the proper placement. 
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. 
• Collect, empty, and transport trash, compost, and recycling. 
• Provide home pre-arrival, owner, and annual inspections. 
• Resolve inspection issues and perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Complete additional requests by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required. 
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods 
• Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
• Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred 
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours as required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $20 - $25 

Bonus: 

After six months, a performance review will be completed with a potential bonus of $500. After 12 months, another performance will be completed with a potential bonus of an additional $500. 

Following one year of employment, employees will be entered into our SkyRun bonus program, which typically occurs after the Ski Season (April). At this point, we will complete a performance review, and bonuses and merit raises will be considered.
