Installations Job Description Position Responsibilities: Install photovoltaic (PV) systems (modules and racking) in accordance with codes and standards using and following designs, drawings, and specs Working on residential and small commercial roof-tops as well as installing ground mounted systems, and other custom installations Pulling of inventory and knowledge of solar parts for specific projects Operate general carpentry, hand, and power tools Assist with electrical work as needed to connect solar system to electric grid Manage & maintain cleanliness and organization of your crews vehicle and the company warehouse Identify electrical, environmental and safety hazards associated with installation Comfort with heights and electrical work while maintaining a comfortable fear of potentially hazardous situations, see above for OSHA requirements Ability to work under supervision after appropriate training Clean driving record with current and valid driver’s license Must possess a working smartphone Ability to succeed in a fast paced, ever changing environment Passionate about solar and the green energy revolution! Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Entry-level or PV Installer NABCEP certification Proficient with computers Understanding of solar PV equipment and installation standards Sales or customer service background Health and Dental Care options Paid Time Off (15 days) Sick Time (3 days) Childcare Benefits Paid Holidays Flexible Schedule In the Installer role, you will work with your team to assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs, ground mounts, or other structures in compliance with site assessments and provided plans. The job will include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules. This position also includes minor electrical work and working from heights and enclosed spaces, so you should be comfortable in all scenarios. The Installer will be responsible for jobs in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey region, with travel to other states as needed. Overnight travel may be required. Solar installation is largely outdoor work, and installers are expected to dress appropriately for the weather. No one will be asked to work under unsafe conditions. We are currently looking for an experienced Solar Commercial Electrician with 5 years electrical experience and 4 years of hands‑on experience in the solar field based in Philadelphia. This position will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems in commercial environments. In general, the ambitious individual in this position is expected to: Identify and prospect potential residential clients through inbound leads provided by the Company, as well as by their own networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques. Act as a knowledgeable and credible consultative sales professional to ensure a high integrity process that fully informs the client Conduct thorough analysis of client’s primary motivations, communication style & concerns to inform the ideal sales strategy and identify appropriate solar energy products, battery systems, electric solution or services to achieve client’s goals Successfully prepare and present proposals, quotes, financing options and contracts for clients Serve as an enthusiastic representative of our core values and enthusiasm for clean, renewable energy. Deliver exceptional customer service. Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and installation to ensure seamless delivery of solar projects. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we have installed over 1,200 residential systems including rooftop solar, canopies, ground mounts, carports, EV chargers, storage. In general, the ambitious individual in this position is expected to: Identify and prospect potential commercial clients through inbound commercial leads, networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques. Compensation is in the form of commissions against a non‑recoverable draw of $52,000 to $80,000 per year, depending upon documentable experience.
