Endocrinologist

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our growing specialty team. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders in an outpatient-focused setting. The Endocrinologist will work collaboratively with primary care providers and specialists to deliver high-quality care, improve chronic disease outcomes, and support continued program growth across the network. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders) Interpret and manage complex diagnostic testing, including hormone panels, dynamic endocrine testing, and imaging studies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based guidelines Manage complex diabetes care, including insulin regimens, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and insulin pump therapy Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence Collaborate with primary care physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans to optimize clinical results and patient satisfaction Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, EPIC Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism DEA license California State Medical license Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care Preferred Skills Experience in outpatient endocrinology practice Expertise in diabetes management, including advanced technologies (CGM, insulin pumps) Interest in program development, population health, and quality improvement initiatives Familiarity with EMR systems Compensation & Benefits Collegial work environment that provides autonomy Robust and competitive benefits package, including paid CME, dues, licenses, etc. 401K, cash-balance retirement plans, HSA 2-year base salary guarantee wRVU productivity incentive Signing bonus Relocation bonus Quality and performance incentive #J-18808-Ljbffr
