Reconstruction Project Manager

Role Description The Reconstruction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD. This position oversees reconstruction projects from initial assessment through completion, including planning scopes of work, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and managing schedules and budgets. Typical responsibilities include conducting site visits, Xactimate estimating repairs, ordering materials, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and company standards. The Reconstruction Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and aligning project deliverables with customer expectations. The role also involves documenting project progress, resolving issues in the field, and collaborating closely with emergency restoration teams to ensure smooth transitions from mitigation to rebuild. Qualifications Experience in reconstruction, restoration, general contracting, or construction project management, including estimating, scheduling, and coordinating trades. Ability to write full estimates in Xactimate Strong skills in stakeholder communication, client relationship management, and conflict resolution to ensure clear, professional interactions with property owners and partners. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control practices in residential and commercial reconstruction environments. Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes, and technical documentation, and to use project management or job-tracking software effectively. Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Comfort working on-site in active construction and restoration environments, including coordinating field teams and conducting frequent site inspections. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in construction management or a related field is preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to project sites in and around Baltimore, MD. Previous experience in water, fire, mold, or disaster restoration, and familiarity with insurance-related work and documentation, is a strong plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
