Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic Home Infusion pharmacy team located in North Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity. This position offers a hands-on role specializing in sterile compounding, ensuring precise medication preparation for optimal patient care.
Schedule:
- Full Time (40 hours/week)
- Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions from authorized prescribers for accuracy and appropriate formulation.
- Prepare, compound, and fill medications using standard protocols such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
- Maintain pharmacy files and inventory by accurately entering patient and medication data.
- Provide drug usage reports to pharmaceutical partners as required.
- Perform Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) reporting in compliance with Texas state regulations.
- Plan and organize pharmacy activities to meet patient needs in alignment with physician requests and best practices.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and ensure thorough documentation and monitoring of drug therapy effectiveness and safety.
- Assist leadership in maintaining adherence to all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws, policies, and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing continuing education to enhance pharmacy service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing; additional state licenses are advantageous.
- USP 797 sterile compounding experience is required.
- Experience in infusion and intravenous (IV) therapy is mandatory.
- Intrathecal medication experience is considered a plus.
