- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations
- Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
- Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff
- Take and record vital signs and report abnormalities per facility policy
- Identify medication shortages and immediately report concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered
- Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed
- Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) course approved by the State of Missouri
- Active CMT certification in good standing, with annual updates as required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Clear communication skills and professionalism
- Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed
- Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs. , including resident mobility assistance
- Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.
- Follow proper resident care procedures, including two-person lifts when required
- Utilize required PPE to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- Report work-related injuries immediately and complete required documentation
- Participate in company drug testing procedures
