This role is responsible for supporting efficient scheduling, accurate collections, strong team performance, and a positive patient experience. Oversee daily patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, collections, and front office workflows. Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate front desk team members. Ensure accurate insurance verification, eligibility, copayment, coinsurance, and deductible collection processes. Manage staffing schedules, PTO requests, and cross-coverage needs. Monitor team performance using KPIs, scorecards, reports, and other performance metrics. Review collections, payment posting, and ABN compliance. Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, waitlists, and open appointment opportunities. Address patient concerns and escalations professionally and promptly. Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to maintain efficient and accurate workflows. Conduct team meetings, training, and development activities. Provide operational updates and performance reports to the Practice Administrator. Support hiring and performance management activities as needed. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies. High School Diploma or GED. At least 3-5 years of medical front desk experience. Strong knowledge of insurance verification, eligibility, copayments, deductibles, and patient billing practices. Experience with EMR and practice management systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Office Management, or a related field. At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience. Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) scheduling experience. Experience overseeing front office operations across multiple locations.
