Medical Assistant I

The Medical Assistant I maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA) Education: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required), Must be open to traveling. Work Experience: Healthcare Preferred

Responsibilities: Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients. Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety. Compensation range for this position is $17.12 per hour - $27.73 per hour. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
