Associate Account Executive

The Associate Account Executive supports the National Account Team in delivering exceptional service and results for franchise and multi-location clients. Reporting to an Account Director, this role partners closely with Account Executives to manage the administrative, operational and coordination needs of assignedaccounts,so projectsremainorganized,accurateand on schedule. The Associate Account Executive supports communication between the agency and client, coordinates internal processes, prepares client-ready materials, andassistswith project management,researchand reporting. This is a foundational account services role for a detail-oriented, proactive team member who is eager to learn the agency business, strengthen client serviceskillsand grow into a more client-facing position. Responsibilities Account Support Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Account Directors to support the day-to-day management of assigned national franchise and multi-locationclient accounts. Monitor client communications and account activity to remain informed of priorities, deadlines,approvalsand outstanding requests. Assistwith administrative follow-up and routine client communication, ensuring responses aretimely,professionaland aligned with account team direction. Prepare,reviewand distribute client-ready materials, including presentations, agendas, status documents,reportsand correspondence, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail. Address non-strategic client inquiries within the scope of the role and route strategic, financial, sensitive or out-of-scopematters to theappropriate accountleader. Attend client and internal meetings, capture clear notes, documentdecisionsand distribute action items and next steps. Input and organize client feedback within deliverable reviews so internal teams receive clear, actionable direction. Coordinate creative trafficking internally and with external vendors for translations,adaptationsand other approved production needs. Support coordination of in-person client meetings, clientgiftsand approved added-value initiatives. Maintain familiarity with assigned clients, including their businessobjectives, brand standards, audiences, scopes ofworkand active initiatives. Project Management + Coordination Assistwith the creation of task requests, project briefs, specificationsheetsand supporting project documentation. Maintain and update project records as clientdetails,feedback,approvalsand requirements are received. Monitor project schedules and delivery dates to help ensure deliverables meet client deadlines. Schedule and coordinate internal brief collaborations, project kickoffs,reviewsand cross-departmental check-ins. Partner with Project Managers and account leaders to update schedules and timelines based on client needs,approvalsor changes in direction. Track outstanding approvals,dependenciesand open items, following up with internal teams as needed tomaintainproject momentum. Communicate potential delays, conflicting priorities, missinginformationorscopeconcerns to the Account Executive or Account Directorin a timely manner. Support quality assurance by reviewing client-facing deliverables for completeness, formatting,accuracyand alignment with approved direction before distribution. Reporting + Research Gather,organizeandvalidateinformation for recurring client reports, dashboards, meetingmaterialsand presentations. Compile performance insights, accountupdatesand supporting data for Account Executive review. Assistwithidentifyingnotable trends, changes,risksand questions that may requireadditionalanalysis or strategic discussion. Conduct industry, competitor, platform,marketand audience persona research to support strategic recommendations and client planning. Maintain organized research files and source documentation so findings can be easily referenced by the account team. Support Account Executives inidentifyingopportunities for client growth,optimizationand added value. Ensure dates, labels,metricsand supporting notes areaccurateand consistent across client reporting materials. Process, Systems + Tools Manage account support activities through approved agency project managementsystems, communication,reportingand file-sharing systems. Ensure briefs, meeting notes, timelines, feedback,approvalsand deliverables are documented accurately and updated consistently. Maintain organized account files, contact information,correspondenceand project documentation. Use agency systems responsibly andmaintainthe confidentiality of client,campaignand business information. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications,businessorrelatedfield preferred. Two or more years of agency experience preferred; franchise or multi-unit brand experience is a plus. Experience supporting multiple client accounts,projectsor cross-functional marketing initiatives. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare polished client-facing materials. Ability to build andmaintainpositive working relationships with internal teams and clients. Experience preparing,managingand tracking account-related documentation. Analytical thinking with the ability toassistwith project estimates, budgettrackingand performance reporting. Familiarity with marketing,advertisingor franchise development best practices. Adapts quickly to new tools,softwareand technological resources. Proficiencyin Microsoft 365required. Experience with SharePoint, project managementsystemsand reporting platforms is a plus. Identifyopportunities to improve organization,documentationand workflow efficiency, and share recommendations with account leadership.
