Neonatologist
Pediatrix & Obstetrix
Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital (RWCH), is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join their growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a true work-life balance with a 7-on/7-off schedule and 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage. The position is part of a collegial, evidence-based team focused on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care.
Practice Info
- 34-bed, Level III NICU with diverse acuity and case variety
- Collaborative 2 Neonatologist / 4 NNP model
- NNPs in-house 24 hours a day
- 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually
- Newborn nursery rounds
- NNP-led transport team (physician covers in-house during transports)
