Toxicology Technical Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Toxicology Technical Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our high-complexity toxicology lab, ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations. The supervisor will lead a team of lab technologists and be responsible for quality control, staff training, and method validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule daily lab operations for toxicology testing (e.g., LC-MS/MS, immunoassays).
• Ensure laboratory procedures comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel; monitor staff competency and performance.
• Perform and review instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality control.
• Participate in validation of new methods and equipment.
• Assist the Laboratory Director in preparing for inspections and audits.
• Review and release test results as authorized.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory experience, with at least 2 years in toxicology.

• Certification (preferred): ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and/or ELISA methods.

• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state/federal lab regulations.
