Hours: 1:00pm - 9:00pm Job Summary: Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Responsible for maintaining the dish room area, floors and the dish machine in a clean and sanitary condition. Assists with the cleaning of other areas of the restaurant as requested. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Operates dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications. Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine and the pot washing sinks. Adds salt to the water softener as needed. Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. Removes garbage, cardboard boxes, cleans and sanitizes garbage cans as needed. Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of a shift. Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef. Other duties as requested or assigned. Working Conditions This position will spend 100% of the time standing. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
