Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM day shifts, 13-week assignment. Two weekends per month required. On-call only during low census periods.

• 39-bed Medical/Oncology unit with modern equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Arjo lifts
• Patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift, 1:6 on night shift
• Collaborative team environment with 60 nursing staff members and strong unit support including charge nurses, CNAs, and unit secretaries
• Meditech EMR system with computers in every patient room
• Opportunity to float to Surgery/Orthopedics and Rehabilitation units for professional development
• Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Demonstrated medication safety with minimum 98% safe scanning and administration rate
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
