In addition to providing a thorough prophylaxis, the dental hygienist will increase the patient's awareness of any negative conditions and uncompleted dental work that is evident by using pictures, models or diagrams and educating the patient through oral hygiene instruction. Great with patient education; supports the doctor by identifying necessary treatment and being willing to continue to grow clinically. Able to both give and receive direction from team members.
