Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent - Greater Boston Description + Lead all on-site construction activities and serve as the primary field representative on assigned projects. + Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Management team. + Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution. + Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and adherence to contract documents. + Identify and proactively resolve construction challenges, schedule impacts, and field conflicts. + Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements. + Facilitate and lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and coordination meetings. + Review construction documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate execution of work. + Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. + Manage project logistics, site access, material deliveries, and workforce planning. + Oversee punch list completion, project turnover, and closeout activities. + Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field staff. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Demonstrated success delivering projects within dense urban environments, including occupied neighborhoods, tight site logistics, restricted access conditions, and coordination with local municipalities and stakeholders. + Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, podium, and other complex ground-up projects in urban settings. + Ability to proactively plan and execute construction activities while minimizing impacts to surrounding businesses, residents, and public infrastructure. + 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with progressive field leadership responsibilities. + Proven experience managing large-scale ground-up and/or complex renovation projects. + Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools. + OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). + Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cambridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $175000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
