Quality Manager

Responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality control processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet corporate and regulatory standards. Conduct regular audits of production processes and products to identify areas for improvement.
• Team Leadership: Oversee the quality management team, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Problem Solving: Investigate customer complaints regarding product quality and recommend corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and assess the effectiveness of quality control strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and product development teams to ensure quality is considered throughout the manufacturing process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and develop a team of six Quality Inspectors overseeing inspections for incoming materials, work-in-process, final assembly, and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction through corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish, implement, and maintain inspection protocols and standard operating procedures across all production stages, ensuring accurate documentation of quality results and compliance records.
• Participate in daily production meetings to align inspection priorities with manufacturing schedules and allocate quality resources effectively
• Day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Build capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelors or equivalent years of Experience
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management or a related role within the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9000
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is also beneficial (Lean Manufacturing) 5S
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ Experience with Mid to High Volume Low Mix assembly environment.
• ERP Experience

Compensation range: $90K - $100K
