About the Position

Job Title

OB Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Level 3)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 4 Days per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low-risk classifications in a labor and delivery setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient and family centered care
• Prioritize and problem solve effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Demonstrate competency across multiple modes of care and delivery within the OB service line
• Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet variable volume and acuity demands

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in OB triage and/or operating room (OR) settings highly desired
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
