Apply Job Type Full-time Description Lion Country Safari is looking to hire full-time detail-oriented Housekeeper with excellent guest service skills to join our team of devoted and dedicated staff. The primary job functions of this position will include: Greet guests in a positive welcoming manner, sanitize and disinfect high touch surfaces, clean bathrooms and fixtures, pick up trash and debris, and clean staff offices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide information and directions to guests concerning the walk through, rules and events * Proactive in reporting any concerns or supplies needed to the supervisor * Must be able to complete repetitive tasks while also maintaining the quality of the job * Complete daily checklist of jobs performed * Follow established guidelines when using equipment, supplies and chemicals * Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision * Dusting, sweeping, mopping and disinfecting * Clean high touch areas and pick up trash and debris around the park Requirements REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of three years of previous housekeeping experience * Excellent cleaning and organizational skills * Excellent time management skills * Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with all guests * Able to bend, flex, stand, and walk for extended periods of time * Lift at least 25 pounds * Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions, including heat and rain * All applicants must work weekends and holidays * Reliable transportation * Valid driver's license BENEFITS * Insurance coverage (medical, dental, and life) * 401(k) * Paid holidays and paid time off * Performance based increase and review after first 90 days * Annual reviews EMPLOYEE PERKS * 40% off lunch at the restaurant * 30% off all retail shops * Free tickets to Lion Country Safari * FAA Free tickets to attractions through Florida and discounts for family members * Uniforms Provided DFWP/EOE
