Human Resources Assistant - Part Time

The HR Assistant is the first point of contact for employees and will be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for part‑time work in the Human Resources field. This is an in person role, but there is flexibility with the days and hours. Key Responsibilities Recruiting Support – Schedule interviews, conduct initial phone screens, and assist with candidate communication. Onboarding & Training – Coordinate new hire onboarding and recurring training sessions Employee Engagement – Assist with employee events and recognition Communication – Draft and/or distribute employee communication; provide suggestions to improve engagement Team Support – Work with Payroll, Executive Director, and HR Director on projects and daily task Administrative – Help maintain and organize employee files/records; handle confidential information; and support special HR initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or HR‑related studies preferred. 1–3 years of related administrative, HR, or customer service experience. Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
