Key Responsibilities of the OB Registered Nurse

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including high, moderate, and low risk cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care in labor and delivery.
• Demonstrate communication skills, prioritize tasks, and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Float among different units to meet varying needs of volume and acuity.

Requirements of the OB Registered Nurse

• RN License (NY ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Required
