Days : Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat

Shift : 5x8 Days (3:00pm-11:30pm), Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, 40 hrs./week

Pay Rate: $37-$41/hr. on W2.

Requirements :
- Will need to float to other facilities as needed.
- Every other weekend availability.
- Min 1-year correctional experience required.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications as prescribed.
Dress wounds and provide wound care.
Take and record vital signs.
Collect samples for testing.
Provide basic first aid and emergency care.
Assess inmate health needs and develop care plans.
Educate inmates on health-related topics.
Monitor inmate health status and report any concerns.
Work closely with correctional officers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and other healthcare providers.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for inmates and staff.
Follow all facility policies and procedures.
Respond to emergency situations as needed.
Maintain accurate and complete records of inmate care.
Document all nursing interventions and assessments.
