Accounting Clerk

Experience: Mid Level Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations by processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Responsibilities include: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Review, verify, and process invoices and purchase orders Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Process payments, cash receipts, and account reconciliations Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger support Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Support audits and other accounting projects as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of accounting, AP, AR, or bookkeeping experience Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required A bit about us: My client is a well-established and growing manufacturer serving customers across a variety of high-tech industries.
