Part-time Bartender

Position Bartender, Full-Time, The Forum Hotel – Charlottesville, VA. Compensation: $7.25-12/hour plus tips. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve them food and beverages. Pour drinks, following standard pours, and process orders accurately in the POS system. Serve food and drinks to guests and fulfill server orders. Notify a manager if a guest becomes intoxicated or behaves inappropriately toward other patrons. Manage ice bins, trash, kegs, and stock beer and wine coolers. Clean and maintain shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns. Adhere to uniform and grooming specifications. Communicate cooperatively with support crew and management. Unload deliveries and stock the bar. Be flexible to take on additional duties beyond the core bartending role when necessary. Qualifications 1 year of bartending experience preferred. Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences. Excellent knowledge of wine and spirits, strong communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with credit card and cash handling procedures, and ability to record accurate tip‑out sheets and calculate bills. Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
